I have mixed feelings about the outcome of yesterday's election in Lemont. My man, Mike Aurelio won, but the referendum was defeated. Now we wait for the state to take over and raise our taxes more than if the referendum was approved. I don't know what these blockhead voters were thinking. Al Malley came in fourth (we were voting for four) but we must wait two weeks to see if the write in vote for Janet Hughes is more than Al's total.
I had oral surgery yesterday. The surgeon put in two transplant posts that now has to heal for 3 months or so and then I will get two crowns put in. My jaw is still swollen, so I am applying ice to get it down. Today I go see the eye doctor for a checkup that I put off while I was going through radiation. Just trying to get my body parts in working order.

Ohhhhhh, doctor visits---NOT FUN----I know. Especially when you have them all at once!! Hopefully you will get everything taken care and be back to normal!! It's nice to know that there are people like you who really care about the elections!!!
