Yesterday was sure a busy day. Woodcarving in the morning, then a trip to Calumet City to get Polish sausage. We didn't make any this year, so had to buy. Then to the grocery store to pick up a couple of items, to the eye doctor to pick up my re-ground glasses, and to Home Depot to buy a new garbage disposal. Plumber coming this afternoon. Then Maundy Thursday worship in the evening. The confirmands received their first Communion. Pastor always uses matzoh crackers in lieu of the little round wafers.
Today is Good Friday and there will be services at noon and then at 7 pm.
Today, I'll try to make the lemon cheesecake squares if the plumber gets out of the way. Trim the asparagus and maybe peel and cut the carrots. I will cook the polish sausage and sour kraut tomorrow. Get Brad over to bring up and set up the folding table and chairs, so I can set the table. It seems like I am forgetting something. I have the ham, sausage, asparagus, carrots, horseradish and bread. Jan is bringing cheesy potatoes. Lee, Sam and Karrie will bring appetizers and desserts. I also have the beer and other beverages on hand. I think I need some olives. There will just be 15 of us, but it is still a chore to get it all done. I sure miss my husband Keith after a party because I would go to work and he would clean the kitchen.

I hope you have a very Happy Easter Audrey!! It sounds like plenty to do for "just 15"!! If I were having 15 people I'd be losing my mind right about now (I have a very small family).
Take care!!
