Cut and Sew
We had a good turnout for our monthly Cut and Sew group. We have about a dozen quilts made and are working on a few more. After Easter we will display them in Church and have Pastor bless them before we take them to Lamb's Fold a women's shelter in Joliet. One of the ladies went to a quilting store in Lockport and told them about our group and she donated a huge roll of polyester batting that they don't use. I guess the quilting purists don't use polyester. So now we have lots of batting to continue our quilts. Pastor's wife said that her mother has fabric that her defunct quilting group had and she will bring it up from St. Louis on her next trip up north. Praise the Lord!
