I must be Crazy

I went out today in the blistering heat to the Burr Ridge Farmer's Market. I wanted to get some more Mirai corn for the corn salad I will be taking to my niece's birthday. It's funny they charge 50 cents more in Burr Ridge than in Lemont. I guess they figure the folks from Burr Ridge can afford it. I also went to the Brookhaven store in Burr Ridge to buy some vegetables that I needed and was really surprised that they did not have jicama and yet they specialize in a lot of Mexican stuff. So after dropping off Stephanie(our intern's wife), I ran to Jewel to get the jicama. After unpacking all of the stuff I bought I seemed to be missing a clove of garlic, so it will be back to a store for that tomorrow, as I plan on keeping cool the rest of the day. I wasn't charged for the garlic so I don't know what happened to it after I put it in my cart.
