Trunk or Treat

Our church did Trunk or Treat yesterday afternoon on our property and invited local kids who live near the property. This was done before trick or treating began in the community. We decorated our trunks and some dressed up in costumes and the kids walked from trunk to trunk to get candy. It was a fun afternoon and the weather was perfect. We requested that people bring canned goods for the food pantry and we filled a small pickup with nonperishable food.
The wind blew my witches hat off
Peter and Roger. Roger was the hit of the party!
Nancy and Ken's trunk.
The food for the food pantry.
And even Martin Luther came in honor of Reformation Day. It was a Marty Party.

I didn't have as many trick or treaters at my house later in the day. I used to get 100, but yesterday I only had about 65, I think the kids in the neighborhood are growing up. I have lots of candy left over, hopefully we can use some of it for our Advent project.
