Last night we had a group come out to work on the Advent Project for this year. We had 1900 boxes to fold, 140 windows to cut and tape, 70 back boards had to have the image of a church drawn with the numbers to match the box numbers when pasting to the board, hot glue 140 wreaths and 70 bells to the church. All boxes had to be numbered and a piece of candy put in each one. I wasn't feeling all that great so I had to leave early so don't know how much more they did. I feel better today so I 'm going out to see if I can get 70 shopping bags donated to put the individual project in. The boxes will still need to have the daily devotions inserted in the boxes and the 70 kits put together
Nancy, Allison and Becky painting the doors on 140 boxes.
Karen and Kathy filling boxes.
Barb and Ruth gluing bells and cutting the roof.
Teenagers Allie, Little Audrey, Deidre and Morgan folding boxes.
Deb and Karen cutting a window hole in box and cutting yellow transparency for window. The finished project. Building an Advent Church
