Thursday Class

Today I was escorted through the parking lot at The Center due to the ice. The kind man that was throwing salt, came over and took my tool bag and my arm and walked me across the parking lot until we got to the dry sidewalk. I'm glad he did because one of the pen and ink ladies fell on her butt and through the window, I saw a man fall, also on his butt.

So this is the tiger head that I've been working on forever. I finally got all of the wood off of his forehead and can now start working on more detail. I have started to identify his nose. This picture gives me another perspective on what I see. I also started working on a clown and didn't like how I cut him out as far as his feet go. So Keith told me to cut off the feet that he has now and just glue some more wood so I can make his feet bigger. I have also thought of a couple more projects that I want to work on, a wolf's head and a bark lighthouse.

Today is a busy day. Woodcarving this morning, a meeting at 4:30 and then praise team practice at 6:30. I'm bringing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to tide me over.
