I had a great weekend. Karrie came in Saturday and we went to dinner with my sister and her family to Jack Gibbons Garden. The place was packed, but luckily we had reservations which they honored as soon as we got there. Their food is quite good.
Sunday morning Karrie went to Bible study and Church with me. When we got home she converted another VHS tape to a DVD. This one was from Christmases 1988 and 1989. Its so much fun to look back at these old pictures. My niece is scanning all of my slides to digital files. The one above is one of them. Karrie was laughing or smiling in almost all of the pics. So far she has 400 done and another 300 to go. After lunch went to Whole Foods to look for these great cookies called Lacey's. I did get a couple of containers of them. They are sort of a lacy toffee. The trip to Whole Foods was quite an experience since neither of us have ever been there. It is quite a large store with lots of different prepared food, a huge produce section. We just sort of wandered around just looking.

Sounds like a lovely day Audrey!! I have thousands of slides that my dad took over the years. I need to get them all organized and probably should put them on DVD like you!! It's kind of overwhelming though. And, it may sound a little strange but....the smell of the projector and the big slide screen is soooooo nostalgic for me!!! I just love it!!
Julie and I were just talking about that yesterday. We must do that too. I have probably thousands that Rich's Dad took over the years. Good ones! Love this, Audrey! Love the old pictures.
