My Sister on a Rollercoaster

Boy, she is sure having her ups and downs. I didn't post yesterday because she had a few problems, but today is much better. Yesterday morning she suffered an atrial fibrillation which causes the heart to race. They controlled that with medication but then her heart was slowed too much and her blood pressure dropped significantly and then she was attached to a portable pacemaker and her blood count was low so they gave her 2 pints of blood. She had no energy and just laid there like a wet dishrag. After the blood infusion she felt a lot better and was able to sit up in a chair and took a walk. I spoke with her this morning and she is still feeling good. She even asked for her makeup and put on some lipstick. Just talked to Karrie who visited her and said she is really looking good. Pray that this will last.
