Lee called this morning and she is pretty sure she will be coming home today. I hope so. Now for a good recovery at home. I think I'll make a pot of vegetable beef soup for her and her family to eat tonight, unless she opts for pizza.
Because my sister was on my mind, I did not post anything about the chili cook-off we had at church on Saturday evening right after the church service. There were 14 entrants and we tasted each one and then voted on the best, the hottest, the mildest and the most unique. There was a first and second prize for each category. The hottest was really HOT. It was a fun evening. I didn't submit an entry because my husband used to call my chili "its not chili chili". He preferred Hormel to mine. I brought cole slaw to cool the pipes.
