Every June, our Lutheran Woman's Missionary League has a banana split night and meeting. You build your own. This was mine, three kinds of ice cream and three different toppings and of course whipped cream. Sherri, our district president gave a slide show of her mission trip to the flooding in Iowa last year. What a terrible thing. The houses that were not torn down had to be completely gutted down to the studs and then rebuilt.
It's forecast to be a rainy day today and cool. So I hope to finish the painting of the water jugs that were turned to wine at the wedding in Cana. Of course this too is for VBS which starts in a couple of weeks.
