Another day at VBS. Today our craft was decorating small little candy dishes and butterfly magnets. Pictures below are of the shields from yesterday and today's craft.
I think I'm getting too old for this. Maybe I should retire and let some of the younger people take over. My legs are tired from standing and bending over to help the kids. Another nap is in my thoughts. I have Praise team practice tonight.
We had a nasty storm last evening and my power went out for three hours. So I went outside to see what was happening and not much was after the first of the storm blew by when I was in the basement because the sirens were wailing. I also read by flashlight and called Com Ed numerous times.

and yes standing all day is hard on the back

so next year...just bake cookies
VBS is only 1/2 day. They just don't bake cookies for snacks. They had cupcakes looking like a lamb and ice cream sandwiches and a few other cute items.
