The sun is shining brightly, but the temp is cool. Its supposed to warm up later this week.We went to the Japanese restaurant yesterday, the food was quite good and a lot. we started out with appetizers, sushi for them and shrimp and vegetable tempura for me. I did try a California roll for the very first time.. It was ok but wouldn't have it again. Karrie and Ryan love them. Then had clear soup, salad, and the entree. Karrie and I had a filet and Ryan had scallops. The filet was served with vegetables, a big individual bowl of rice and a few shrimp. I brought my leftovers home. I received a red rose from the restaurant so I put it with the 2 carnations I received at Church.
Karrie and Ryan gave me my favorite, a pound of Fannie Mae dark chocolate vanilla creams, a bouquet of flowers, new salad tongs and chip clips, the last two items replacing the old and decrepit ones I had.
No Bible study here tonight; there is a voter's meeting at Church tonight. Will be electing new board members.
